Preparation time approx. 1 hour (without cooling time)
For the dough:
150g dark chocolate 70% cocoa
3 eggs (medium)
1.5 tbs. of vanilla sugar
1 tbsp. baking soda
50g ground almonds
150g Terrafertil Goldenberries (dried physalis)
100g dark chocolate 70% cocoa
50g Terrafertil Goldenberries (dried physalis)
Cocoa for the toping
1. Cut the chocolate into pieces, add some slices of butter and melt it slowly in a bain-marie until all the butter has been added. Stir it from time to time and let it cool down.
2. Mix the eggs with vanilla sugar to a foam and fold into the melted chocolate. Add the flour, baking soda, almonds and the goldenberries.
3. Line a baking tin (20 x 24 cm with a high rim) with baking paper and fill with the dough. Heat up the oven to 180 °C (gas mark 2-3 ), put in the cake and bake it around 25 – 30 minutes. Let it cool down for a while.
4. Take the rest of the chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie. Meanwhile, cut the brownies into 4 x 4 cm squares. Glaze the pieces with the melted chocolate and decorate with some goldenberries. As a final step, dredge the brownies with cocoa.
